Bahamas clinic to offer stem cell treatment after new legislation.
The Bahamas aims to be a world leader in stem cell research and treatments as regulatory approval is received from the National Stem Cell Ethics Committee (NSCEC). The Stem Cell Therapy and Research Act has just been passed giving new legislation on stem cell treatments.
Regulatory approval includes stem cell treatment for;
- Cardiac cell therapy
- Tissue ischemia
- Autoimmune diseases
- Chronic neurological conditions
- Chronic orthopaedic conditions
