Stem Cell News from the British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) today announced successful results from stem cell therapy as part of their ‘Mending Broken Hearts’ project.

Stem cells injected into a heart showed signs of repair to damaged heart muscle. Research into heart repair is well advanced in the US and whole hearts have been grown from stem cells in laboratories across the country.
