Stem cell research could yield the answers to problems caused by smoking and diet

Stem Cell Biologist from the University of Queensland, Christine Wells has announced that stem cell therapy could treat smoking and obesity related problems in the future.

Ms Wells is the author of one of five research papers written on the findings of “Project Grandiose”, a huge stem cell research project involving over 50 leading stem cell scientists.

Ms Wells stated that the potential of stem cell research is not limited to injuries, strokes, diabetes and degenerative diseases, but could yield the answers to problems caused by smoking and diet.
